Welcome to the Monterey Bay Blues Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Monterey Bay Blues Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Monterey Bay Blues Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Monterey Bay Blues Festival
The Monterey Bay Blues Festival, held at the Monterey Fairgounds, was started in 1986 and has become one of the leading blues festivals in America. Highlights of previous year's line-ups include Isaac Hayes and Eric Bibb.
Fiercely independent, the festival awards in excess of US $100,000 in grants each year to community youth who are pursuing their dream in the field of music, visual and performing arts.
The festival performances take place spread across three stages.
